The Ask

Create 17 photos that each demonstrate a different photography technique—shot in manual, properly exposed, edited in Lightroom—with the final photo combining at least three techniques in one image.

The Idea

For this debut photography assignment, I treated Madrid as a visual workspace, searching for everyday scenes to showcase each assigned technique with clarity and intention. I focused on creating images that were both technically precise and aesthetically thoughtful—adjusting exposure, white balance, and manual settings as needed and refining the series in Adobe Lightroom. For the final image, I surpassed the requirement by combining four techniques in a single, cohesive composition.
